We’re proud to host the Uncensored Market at the historic and fiercely inclusive Queen Margaret Union (QMU) in Glasgow’s West End. A cornerstone of the city’s student culture and live music scene, the QMU has been “making music since 1890” and championing progressive values for over 130 years.
This isn’t just a venue – it’s a space built on activism, equity, and community, with roots going back to the foundation of Queen Margaret College, Scotland’s first higher education institution for women. Today, the QMU continues to be known as a hub for inclusive, welcoming and radical events – a perfect match for everything Uncensored stands for.

Whether you need a post-rope snack or a pre-performance pint, QMU has you covered. There is a chinese restaurant upstairs and a café on the ground floor, while the main bar keeps the good vibes flowing all event long.
