We want Uncensored to be a safe, comfortable and accessible space for everyone who attends. Below is a breakdown of accessibility at the Queen Margaret Union (QMU), where our events are held. 🚪 Venue Access

• The QMU building is accessed via a ramp at the front door. The market is split across levels, but a lift provides access to all areas including the workshop room.
• The main event space is on a split level. A ramp provides access to the social area, though please note that it is quite steep. Our team will be nearby if you need a hand.
• The restaurant is located on the second floor and is accessible by lift. There is also a café on the ground floor serving hot food and drinks.

🚻 Toilets

• There are two accessible toilets on the ground floor:
  • One is located within the toilets that have urinals.
  • The second is in the cubicle toilets, accessible with a RADAR key. Don’t worry if you don’t have one — we have a key available at reception.
  • All bathrooms are gender neutral on the day of the market.

🧘 Quiet Space & Quiet Hour

We understand that events can be overwhelming, so we offer a Quiet Hour during the market. This includes:

• Low lighting
• No music
• Bar closed
• Fewer tickets sold for a calmer shopping experience

A designated quiet space is also available in the cafe throughout the day for anyone who needs a moment to decompress.

🎟 Companion Tickets

We offer reduced-price companion tickets for all of our events to ensure that everyone can attend with the support they need. If you require a companion, carer, or personal assistant to attend with you, they can access a ticket at a significantly reduced rate.

Just let us know when booking or drop us an email in advance — no proof required. We trust you to know what you need.

🐾 Assistance Dogs

Assistance dogs are absolutely welcome throughout the venue. Please let us know if your pup needs anything to make their visit more comfortable.

🪑 Rest & Social Space

Our social area has plenty of seating, so you can relax and recharge at any time. It’s also the perfect spot to watch the entertainment throughout the day.

A wheelchair-accessible balcony is available above the main space — open to anyone who’d like a bird’s-eye view of the entertainment. It’s usually quieter up there, making it a good option if you want to take in the vibe from a distance.
